Founded by Sara Ellis-Owen, the House of Pilates prides itself on offering quality, dynamic Pilates classes for Private 1:1 and 1:2 sessions in Bristol. The classes are designed to both stimulate and motivate you while recognising and respecting that everyone’s particular movement capacity is unique.

Hi, I’m Sara. I trained with the Pilates and Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Centre (affiliated to Alan Herdman). I also have a Level 2 Award in Planning and Instructing Pilates for Children by Body Control Pilates. As a mum of 3, I fully understand the challenges of juggling competing demands, balanced with the need to carve out time for yourself!

for 1:1 & 2:1 client sessions

I teach Pilates using state of the art Pilates studio equipment; the Allegro 2 Reformer, Trapeze Table and Combo Chair. I also use amazing props, such as the Oov, theraband, foam rollers and massage balls to help promote mobility as well as stability.
